Khalifa gifts Dh370m for endowment

ABU DHABI — A generous contribution from the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the rebuilding and widening of the Shaikh Zayed endowment has been welcomed with cheer by various circles across the country.

The donation of Dh370 million came crowning the endowment campaign initiated by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments said that the generous contribution of Shaikh Khalifa will give an impetus to the investment of endowments for development. The endowment drive was entitled ‘Grown on Earth, Harvested in Heavens’.
