Mohammed Al Fardan, Head of the Promotion and Recreation Office, Dubai Municipality, said: "There will be several attractive events for the children during the DSF 2004 with the most attractive among them being the Little Bears show presented by Mini Studio. This is an interactive entertainment show designed for children with educational and recreational value. The show will begin at 6.45pm every day and will last for 75 minutes.
"Also, the city will host a skit on "Call to Safety" which will educate the children on safety rules in a simple way. The "Junior Inventor" will provide a lot of knowledge and information for the children in an innovative way every Wednesday.
"There will be a daily session on magnetic inventions while special workshops will shed light on the installation and assembling of remote-controlled cars and planes. Children can also participate in the Children's Carnival and mass birthday parties throughout the month-long festival.
"Apart from these, Children's City offers great shows at its planetarium, information centre, educational workshops, and various other sections of the city.
