The police received information that a man was using and selling narcotics. The police raided the house and seized the drugs.

During the interrogation, the man denied the charges but his urine test proved that he had used drugs.

Kazem defended himself by saying that the drugs were prescribed to him by the General Practitioner in Iran after a surgery. He claimed he was suffering from a kidney disease and showed some papers brought from Iran, saying that the man suffers from 'many diseases' and is required to take 'these' drugs. He said that he had brought the drugs for his personal use. The General Prosecution referred the case to the court which found him guilty.
