Indian found dead in car
SHARJAH — The police yesterday found the decomposed body of a 56-year-old Indian man in a Toyota Corolla car parked in an unauthorised area in Sharjah Industrial Area 1.
According to police sources, the man, identified as K. M., was found strangled with his own clothes when the Anjad team was patrolling the area. He was found with a cloth around his neck, hands tied behind the driver's seat and legs tied to the steering wheel.
According to the forensic report, the deceased was strangled at least two days back, the report said.
The police said they were unable to find any identification papers of the deceased in the car but they managed to get some details through his car registration number.
Investigations also revealed that the man had been residing in the country for the past 25 years and had left the country only once. More investigations are on.
