Just off the coast of Dubai's JBR beach is Ain Dubai - a massive Ferris wheel that is on the verge of completion. According to Meeraas, when finished - it will be the largest Ferris wheel in the world standing at a staggering 210 metre. In fact, it is so big that it can be seen driving down Sheikh Zayed Road and from Dubai Marina.
But, how does it really fare with the rest of the world? Numbers can only tell much. And it's no secret that the Ain Dubai dwarfs other Ferris wheels when it comes to the numbers game. It is taller than the 167-metre High Roller in Las Vegas and the 190-metre New York Wheel planned for Staten Island, in New York City.
To get an idea just how tall it is, The Sun published a useful infographic pitting the Ain Dubai against some of the United Kingdom's most famous landmarks.
In their infographic, it is revealed that the Ain Dubai is larger than almost every single UK landmark - including the Big Ben. It is also taller than the famous London Eye which stands at 135 metre. The only thing taller than Ain Dubai is The Shard, which is a skyscraper. The Dubai Media Office shared a useful infographic comparing the two Ferris wheels.
