The Fujairah Police received a call from an Emirati man living in Mirbih saying that unknown men had broken into his house, sneaked into the bedroom of his two Asian maids and gang raped them and that one of the maids had died.

A team of police and prosecution officials inspected the crime scene and lifted fingerprints. It appeared from the preliminary investigation that the perpetrators had no intention to kill the woman.

After thorough investigation and search, the CIDs identified the alleged perpetrators and arrested them. They included the complainant’s son, the prime accused.

During interrogation, the prime accused said he had made a deal with one of the maids who agreed to invite his two friends over for a drinking session at night. At 2.30am, he and his friends sneaked into the bedroom of the two domestic servants, where they allegedly raped them. The second maid, aged 48, resisted them and she was strangled.
