Family airlifted from Oman after accident
DUBAI - A helicopter airlifted a UAE family, involved in a serious traffic accident in Oman, to an Abu Dhabi hospital on Monday. One of the family members died and three others suffered injuries.
The helicopter was sent to Oman after a UAE national asked for help to take back to his sister and her three children admitted to Nazwa Hospital in Oman following the accident.
The Ministry of Health approached the UAE Embassy in Oman, UAE Armed Forces and Abu Dhabi Health Authority to send a helicopter to fly the family back to UAE.
