The flights to Manchester will complement Etihad Airways’ daily flights already in operation to both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.

"The route will provide excellent links between the UAE, the north of the UK, Asia and the Far East. It is yet another international route being offered by Etihad, ensuring business and leisure travellers have access to the best global destinations," said Ian Ferguson-Brown Head of Marketing, Etihad Airways.

Etihad Airways recognises Manchester as one of Britain’s and the world’s principle airports, currently handling over 22 million passengers a year.

Etihad Airways, voted the 'World's Leading New Airline,' is already setting new standards in the hospitality industry - believing all customers are valued guests rather than passengers.

Guests using this new service will fly on a luxuriously appointed Airbus medium range A330 aircraft, carrying around 300 passengers.
