Ethiopian maid's death to be probed
SHARJAH - Police in Sharjah are investigating the mysterious death of a 28-year-old Ethiopian housemaid who reportedly fell to her death from the 20th floor apartment in Sara Tower on Buhaira Corniche in Sharjah on Tuesday night.
According to an eyewitness, the blindfolded woman had bled profusely after suffering severe injuries in her head and body.
A grocer from the same building informed the police who rushed to the spot.
A police source did not rule out the possibility of foul play, but refused to disclose more information.
