Emirates launches daily service to Beijing

DUBAI — Emirates airline celebrated the launch of its daily non-stop service to Beijing with its senior managers travelling to the city yesterday.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates’ Executive Vice-President Commercial Operations Worldwide was accompanied by Richard Vaughan, Emirates’ Senior Vice President Commercial Operations East Asia and Australasia, Gao Youzhen, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China and a delegation of local journalists.

In Beijing, Emirates officials will meet the local media and commemorate the service with a spectacular gala dinner for more than 600 trade partners. Emirates has announced a range of special offers to its passengers travelling to the city — First and Business Class passengers receive complimentary stay at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel in Beijing; and Economy Class passengers in the UAE an exceptional introductory fare of Dh 1,800 for a round trip from Dubai. In addition, UAE-based passengers who book their Dubai-Beijing tickets online could be one of four lucky ones to win back the entire value of their ticket. Skywards, Emirates’ frequent flyer programme, also announced special Cash-plus-Miles offers.
