The DSS ‘Win-A-Dream’ promotion of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group plus the mall’s own promotion called the IT Bazaar have largely contributed towards the increase in shoppers and sales at Mussalla Towers during the DSS.
The IT Bazaar was a forerunner to a major retail development in this field that will be launched at the mall with the opening of several stores offering merchandise related to IT and computers.
DSS is generally a period when Al Mussalla Towers received more visitors than other months with footfall and sales during this DSS remaining almost the same compared to the same period last year. A majority of the mall’s visitors are Asians but another 50 per cent consist of Arabs, Westerners and people from other nationalities.
Among the entertaining activities organised by the mall is the “Magic Fountain” which is turned on every hour for 10 minutes starting from 6.00pm. Water is ejected and sprayed on children resulting in them having a wonderful evening with water in the hot summer on the main level beneath a semi-curved atrium.
