DUBAI — The Centre for Healthcare Planning and Quality (CPQ), a regulatory body for Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), licensed 2000 healthcare professionals, a media release said.
“In our ambition to be a centre of excellence for healthcare in the region, it was important to have an independent governance framework that ensures stringent standards in healthcare delivery. This is the core principle behind establishing CPQ,” said Dr Ayesha Abdullah, Executive Director, Dubai Healthcare City.
Dr Abdulkareem Sultan Al Olama, Executive Director of the CPQ, said the centre is a prime example of demonstrating excellence through its actions. “The CPQ is the only body in the region to receive outpatient clinic standards accreditation from the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua),” Dr Olama said.
