Car thief arrested in Al Ain
ABU DHABI - A 40-year-old Bangladeshi national who lifted a vehicle parked in an industrial area in Al Ain and sold it as scrap, has been arrested by Al Ain Police.
The arrest followed a tip-off provided to the police by a 52-year-old Pakistani, whose bus had been lifted from Al Ain Industrial area earlier.
In the recent past, Al Ain Police have received several complaints of vehicle-lifting.
The accused has confessed to having committed four similar thefts.
The police have arrested the owner of a scrap shop in Sharjah in connection with the theft.
