The Dubai Police has recently honoured taxi driver Shafafet Khan Abdulrashid for his honesty as he returned $21,000 cash, a mobile phone, and some passports forgotten by a Danish family in his cab to the Al Rashidiya police station.
Brigadier Saeed Hamad bin Sulaiman Al Malek , Director of Al Rashidiya police station, thanked the Pakistani driver on behalf of the force and praised his positive response, to emphasise the importance of the collaboration between the community and police.
In recognition of his ethical conduct, honesty and good behaviour, Shafafet Khan Abdulrashid was awarded a certificate of appreciation and a symbolic gift.
Brigadier Al Malek also met with the family who expressed their gratitude to Dubai Police for their fast response and to the honest taxi driver for returning their valuables.
