The two-time Academy Award winner, who made more than 200 films in a glittering film career that spanned seven decades, has also won him international acclaim as a sculptor, artist and jewellery designer from art critics, fans and art collectors alike.
Mr Mohammed Al Falasi, Manager, Property Management, Emaar Properties, said: "Anthony Quinn is a name that is synonymous with fine art and we are honoured to be associated with such a prestigious and famous individual. This exhibition provides our customers and lovers of art with the perfect opportunity to come to the Park and see a wonderful display of memorable artefacts."
The exhibition, which will run until February 20, features nine examples of Quinn's work in sculpture and his exhibits will take pride of place in the central atrium of the Park. It will be open to the public from 10am to 10pm, Mondays to Thursdays and Friday 4pm to 10pm.
"We are delighted to be hosting this fine collection and Anthony Quinn's works fit perfectly with the exclusivity of the Park. We are keen to give our support to cultural causes and I look forward to seeing his work in more detail," said Manan Desai, Manager, Gold & Diamond Park.
Quinn, who originally started his career as a painter and sculptor before he turned to acting, held his first exhibition in Hawaii in 1982. The overwhelming success of his inaugural show created instant demand for his work and over the years his art has become sought after.
"Anthony Quinn has a fine reputation for being one of the world's finest artists," said Petra Mueller, Art Consultant, and organiser of the event.
