Al Ain Hospital launches web site
AL AIN - Al Ain Hospital recently announced the launch of its interactive web site — http: //www.alain- hospital.com
The web site provides instant and easy-to-access information in both Arabic and English about the types of care available at the hospital, managed by leading European healthcare partners Vienna Medical University and VAMED. The web site is specially designed by a hospital committee in consultation with Internet marketing professionals from Germany.
"We are pleased to bring our hospital to the Web community. The patients who want to be able to find online information on the health services and job applicants who want to find out who we are and how we work can visit the site," says George Jepson, Chief Executive Officer of Al Ain Hospital.
The site has several advanced features with a very user-and patient-friendly layout as well as a vast amount of information and references to its specialised health services.
In future, the hospital will add illness-related web sites.`
"The goal was to create a web site where people could quickly and easily find information on the medical departments and specialists at our hospital.
"We also wanted a useful communication tool for all, where the new parents can show the photo of their newborn to their family and friends," adds Karine Bachongy, Chief Operating Officer of the hospital. The web site is based on a content management system (CMS) powered by web Edition 5.1 and will be administered by the Marketing and IT Department of Al Ain Hospital.
The use of the CMS has a lot of advantages for the hospital as it can manage and continually update the structure and content of the web site; the hospital can post new job vacancies and tenders, Press releases, and announce seminars and events at any time.
