Turkish president says the move is also aimed at increasing the amount of humanitarian aid entering Gaza
Shaikh Rashid said this would reduce the delays faced by new building and housing projects in the emirate in getting power and water connections.
The ADMP was making all efforts to solve any such problems faced by residents and landlords at the earliest, he added.
Shaikh Rashid also stressed that the ADMP would not issue licences for any new construction projects without the permission of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA), which will ensure its ability to provide connections of utilities.
Shaikh Rashid’s statement comes following complaints from landlords of many new buildings and villas in Ajman, about the reported losses they would incur due to delays in getting power, water connections.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Rashid urged the FEWA to provide power supply to the construction projects in the Northern emirates to help accelerate development.
Some of the landlords Khaleej Times spoke to, urged FEWA to sympathetically consider the investments they had made into construction of buildings and villas.
They said that with the delay in power/water connections, they were incurring losses persistently as they had to repay loans they had taken from banks.
