The AMCS will be run with cooperation of Union Cooperative Society (UCS). The decision comes under the instruction of His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman and Member of the Supreme Council.

Al Nuaimi made this announcement at the Ajman Port and Free Zone during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Union Cooperative Society of Dubai. Al Nuaimi will be the Chairman of the new body.

The MoU empowers the Union Cooperative Society to manage and run all branches of AMCS.

The MoU was signed by Al Nuaimi and Majed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Union Cooperative Society in Dubai.

Addressing a Press conference after the ceremony, Al Nuiami said that in the first phase, three branches of AMCS would be established in the coming six months — in Al Humaidiy, Al Ajarf and near Ajman Sport Club.

In future, AMCS will have branches at various strategic locations in all parts of the emirate, he added.
