A man and three women were also injured in the crashes.
And on Thursday evening, the Abu Dhabi Police said that they have honored the Emiratis and expats for their active role and humanitarian efforts to help the children and other people who were involved in the crash.
Brigadier Suhail Saeed Al Khalili, Director of the Central Operations Section at Abu Dhabi Police praised the humanitarian gesture and quick response to provide help to the injured and taking other necessary steps in dealing with the traffic accident before the police arrived.
He said the members activated the hazard signals in the vehicle of the injured person and also placed a warning triangle behind their vehicles to alert the oncoming traffic about the accident to avoid more crashes.
