287 Officers 
Graduate from 
Police College

ABU DHABI - As many as 287 officers, including 27 women, graduated from the Police College here on Wednesday. The graduation ceremony of the 19th batch of cadet officers was attended by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

One cadet officer from Yemen and two others from Jordan were among the graduating batch.

Lt-Gen Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, hailed the engagement of women in the police forces.

He urged the graduating officers to enforce the law with full integrity and impartiality, keeping in mind the security of the nation.

The minister lauded the leadership’s care for development of skills of the police and security personnel to enable them to catch up with the latest advanced technology and knowledge to respond to emerging changes in the world in the local, regional and global social and security sectors.
