Sharjah Police grants its women employees, particularly mothers, a day off on September 10 (Sunday) to prepare their kids for the new school year.
The force announced the special leave on social media on Friday.

September is back-to-school month in UAE and during this time of the year, things can get pretty hectic. With back-to-school season comes a new schedule and deadlines.

School time means looking at purchasing a whole new variety of colourful, innovative and attractive stationery products; snazzy lunch packs with the little ones' favourite cartoon characters that inspire them to carry a desired homemade meal with place for quick snacks such as cereal bars and juice packs, as well as a cool water bottle that fits in.
