A Saudi policeman helped an elderly blind man fulfil his wish of kissing the Black Stone of the Holy Kaaba, otherwise a challenging task for any pilgrim performing Hajj or Umrah.
A video circulated on the internet shows a policeman posted at the Kaaba guiding the old man to the Stone while he performs rituals.
According to the Al Arabiya, the man is accompanied by his son. The two are struggling to find a way to the Black Stone when the policeman comes to help.
The elderly man is then supported by his son for performing the other rituals of the pilgrimage.
The clip has taken the internet by storm. The video highlights the human side of policing at the holy site.
The video surfaces just a week after a man tried to set himself ablaze at the Grand Mosque. He was caught in time and escorted out by the police and pilgrims.
