Saudi to refund Umrah fees, service charges to affected pilgrims

The Ministry of Haj and Umrah said in a statement that pilgrims can request refund of visa fees and services charges through local Umrah agents in their respective countries.
There is an electronic mechanism set up for the purpose, and in case of any queries pilgrims can contact service center at the ministry on 00966-920002814 or email ID mohcc@haj.gov.sa.
Although there have been no confirmed cases the Covid-19 in Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom suspended entry of travellers coming from affected countries.

It also suspended entry of citizens from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah temporarily. 
However, GCC nationals, who have been in the Kingdom for 14 consecutive days and do not display symptoms of Covid-19, are exempt from the ban.
They can obtain entry permit from the website of the Ministry of Haj to perform Umrah and visit the holy cities, according to reports in Saudi Gazette.
