A Saudi man kidnapped his five children who were in custody of his ex-wife and left them in a refugee camp in another country.
The father had not been given custody of his children during the divorce proceedings. The five children lived with their mother and maternal grandmother.
"The youngest of my children is only a year and a half and the eldest is 10 years old. I found out later that my ex-husband had kidnapped my children and took them out of the country. I kept questioning my ex-husband until he finally told me that he dropped them off at their grandmother's house in Syria," said the mother to Saudi Gazette.
The man convinced his wife to let him take the child on the pretext of a "fun day out in Riyadh" and the proceeded to drop them off at refugee camp near the Turkey-Syria border.
The Saudi Embassy in Turkey is aware of the situation but is unable to do much as the children are in a high danger area according to the report.
The authorities however are doing our best to bring them back.
