A man in Virginia damaged his car worth $300,000 (Dh1,101,945) just a day after buying it.
The man was speed driving McLaren 720S and exceeded the speed limits. He crashed into a tree and damaged his newly bought vehicle.
Fortunately, the driver did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
"Purchased Friday. Totaled Saturday. This McLaren 720S, costing around $300,000, was destroyed today in Great Falls because of speed. The driver was taken to the hospital with thankfully only non-life threatening injuries. A reminder to slow down, or it could cost you," the Fairfax County Police Department was quoted saying by the UPI news.
The McLaren 720s is a luxury sports car and is rated a 5-star rating by Autocar.
