The couple have been exploring the state, rightfully termed God’s Own Country, and its many facets over the last few days. Their aim is “to explore the beautiful Indian state and its deep history with the UAE.”
VisitKerala.ae, a travel company based in Dubai is behind Khalid and Salama’s visit. The couple plan to make their next set of YouTube videos on Kerala talking about the rich local culture, the exquisite landscape, and its delectable cuisine which includes tea.
Cochin, Munnar and the backwaters have been the couple’s favourite spots over the last few days and their social media pages are now bursting with pictures of their trip which began on Friday.

Rakesh Thomas, founder and CEO, VisitKerala.ae, said he plans to make Kerala the next “ultimate getaway” for everyone living in the Gulf region.
“With cheap flights and arguably the best bit of green you will find on a three-hour flight journey from the UAE, Kerala becomes the best destination, and there is so much more to discover,” he added.
In the present scenario, social media plays a significant role in creating awareness and that is where the importance of influencers like Khalid and Salama come in.
