Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been charged in the court for breaking speeding laws in England.
Aubameyang was snapped by speed camera on M1 motorway while he was driving at 160kmph in his £275,000 Lamborghini.
The 28-year-old Gabonese footballer, who earns £180,000 per week, has been slapped £1,250 fine and six points on his driving licence. Aubameyang appeared at Willesden magistrates court in North London on Monday to receive his punishment, the Sun reported.
Aubameyang's lawyer, Robert Morris, said, "He is very sorry he is in this position. He accepts he has no excuse. He uses his car to attend training and matches. It is the top of the bracket but is not by any stretch of the imagination the worst case of speeding."
Aubameyang has a fleet of supercars including a Porsche, Ferrari and Range Rover with his collection thought to be worth over £3m, including the Lamborghini Aventador he was caught speeding in.
Aubameyang joined the Gunners for £56m in January from Borussia Dortmund at the North London club.
