Another death has taken place after a World Cup match
Abdelraheem Mohammed, Egyptian coach and former Zamalek player, died in the wake of a heart attack after Salim Al Dawsari scored Saudi's winning goal during a match between Saudi and Egypt.
The incident happened on Monday night, June 25, according to Arabic media.
He had been analyzing the match at the Maspero Television Building when the team scored the goal during the Russian World Cup match.
A friend who had been with him at the time revealed that the coach had been in a state of agitation when the goal was scored.
Ambulance vehicles took him to Qasr El Eyni hospital in Cairo. Doctors attempted to revive him but despite their efforts, passed away.
Another Egyptian man, 38-year-old actor Maher Isam, died last week after suffering a stroke while watching the World Cup match between Uruguay and Egypt.
