Islamabad — Pakistan People’s Party leader and Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will come back to Pakistan next month.
Khursheed Shah made the disclosure in a media statement here to blunt speculations that Bilawal is unhappy with his father Asif Zardari.
Bilawal has not returned to Pakistan since October last year.
He missed PPP’s foundation anniversary ion November 30 and his mother Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary on December 27.
Khursheed Shah said his party opposes ‘horse-trading’ in the upcoming Senate elections. He said parties should win senate seats in proportion to their representation in the assemblies instead of buying votes.
Shah said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and the government have reached an agreement over the formation of the proposed judicial commission for investigating allegations of rigging in the 2013 general election.
He said Aitzaz Ahsan and he himself have had a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Qamar Zaman Kaira would also meet PTI Chief Imran Khan in near future in this regard.
