Light rainfall, cloudy skies in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah

According to NCMS, there were "strong north-westerly wind over western areas, wind speed reached 55km/hr over Al Hamra."

Residents in the UAE woke up to a cool winds and light rainfall on Friday early morning. The National Center of Meteorology & Seismology reported light rain over Dubai, Al Qalaa, Dalma and Al Jazeera B.G; moderate rain over Ghayathi and Jebel Dhanna.
According to NCMS, there were "strong north-westerly wind over western areas, wind speed reached 55km/hr over Al Hamra."
Many Twitter users began sharing the status of the rain in different parts of the country.
