A businesswoman admitted in court that she hit a man with a broken glass but claimed it happened by mistake as she threw it at another man.
The Uzbek woman, 40, is accused of causing a Tunisian security guard a permanent injury because of the broken glass attack that took place on October 15, 2014, in a hotel in Al Muraqqabat.
She claimed she meant no harm when the charges of physical assault and consuming alcohol were read on her in the Court of First Instance. The complainant, 29, said that he was on duty at the hotel where he worked when the accused threw a broken glass at him and it hit his right hand.
