Mysterious 'celestial objects' zipped through Dubai skies on New Year's Eve, surprising everyone in the area, the country and the world. Today, the mystery behind those meteor looking objects was revealed.
A video released by Skydive Dubai on Thursday, shows that the 'meteor or comet shower' was actually the famous wingsuiters of Dubai shooting across the night sky as Dubai and UAE prepared to ring in the New Year 2020 on Tuesday.
Crowds, with their eyes glued to the Burj Khalifa, were stunned to see a group of blazing objects flying over Sheikh Zayed Road towards the tallest building in the world. According to initial reports, they were identified as wingsuit flyers.
They appeared in the sky almost one hour before the stroke of midnight and the grand fireworks show.
