The Dubai Police transferred two young girls to Rashid Hospital after they sustained injuries in a car crash in Oman.
The girls, aged 9 and 15, were travelling with their family members to Salalah when the driver lost control over the car and veered off the road. Three people lost their lives in the crash, while three injured girls were taken to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Oman.
Dr Lt. Col Mohammed Al Janahi, director of services and medical affairs at Dubai Police, said two of the girls were shifted to Rashid Hospital in Dubai. "One of the girls is daughter of a Dubai Police employee. Both the injured girls have been equally taken care of," he pointed out.
"This humanitarian gesture is in line with one of Dubai Police's strategic objectives -- community happiness," he added.
Al Janahi said that the nine-year-old girl has fully recovered and discharged, while the 15-year-old is still recovering in the hospital while getting full support of the Dubai Police.
