As part of the ongoing Innovation Week at the Sharjah Expo Centre, a cinema that displays news has been set up at the Sharjah Press Club (SPC) pavilion.
The recently launched SPC developed the idea to raise awareness among the audience about the importance of the news and to evaluate and feel the positive and negative effects of the audible and visual news stories.
Huda Al Dah, Director of SPC, said that this innovative initiative is designed to track and measure the audience's reactions towards all types of news stories. "The news movie takes only five minutes with each news story taking 90 seconds," she explained.
Al Dah said the experience is aimed at spreading the culture of knowledge, which contribute to the development process of innovation and creativity in the country. The innovative idea has attracted a number of visitors at the event.
"Visitors are welcome to enjoy watching local and international news in the cinema theatre set up and the SPC pavilion," she added.
