Shaikh Saud orders Martyrs City, Martyrs Square in UAQ

Umm Al Quwain /Al Ain - Shaikh Saif visits mourning tent of Al Ain martyr

His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, has issued directives to name the residential area being built under the Shaikh Zayed Housing Programme in the emirate as 'Martyrs City'.
Shaikh Saud also ordered construction of a memorial facing the Emiri Diwan and to name the area as 'Martyrs' Square', in memory of the UAE Armed Forces men who lost their lives in Yemen.
Shaikh Saud also directed authorities to turn those locations into national symbols, which express the bravery of the men and reflect the unity between the UAE leadership and its people.
Meanwhile, Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior visited the mourning tent of martyr Lt-Saeed Rashid Al Neyadi, in the Mazyad area of Al Ain.
Shaikh Saif expressed his condolences to the family and relatives of the martyr; praying to Allah to have mercy on the martyr's soul, grant him eternal peace in heaven, and provide his family with comfort. He also checked on the conditions of the injured soldiers recuperating at Mafraq and Zayed Military Hospitals in Abu Dhabi.
