It's another long weekend and the weather is perfect for outdoor activities as we celebrate the UAE's 47th National Day.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the weather forecast for tomorrow (Saturday) is fair in most areas, with a probability of fog or mist formation in the morning over some internal areas. There will be a slight increase in the temperature and the wind will be easterly to northeasterly, with speed averaging between 15 - 25 kmph and maximum velocity reaching 35 kmph.
Temperatures will gradually decrease on Sunday and it will be partly cloudy over some areas with a probability of fog or mist formation by in the morning over scattered areas.
The wind will be northwesterly, with a speed of 15 - 30 kmph, reaching 38 kmph at times over the sea. The sea will be moderate but may roughen westwards by night in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
As many residents will enjoy an extended vacation on Monday, the weather will again be perfect for outdoor activities.
It will be partly cloudy in general with a probability of fog or mist formation in the morning over some internal areas and there will be another dip in temperature. The wind will be northwesterly, with speed averaging between 20 - 30 kmph.
So, bring out the flags; watch the parades, enjoy the fireworks and celebrate the Spirit of the Union.
