A 12-year-old boy who went missing in Abu Shagara area on Thursday was found in the custody of his mother.
Sharjah Police have found that the Armenian boy child went to visit his mother who was separated from his father.
The boy left for his mother's place without informing the father. The man lodged a complaint at the police station as he did not return home after 10 hours. The Al Gharb Police Station launched a search for the boy and sought the support the support of the public. The Sharjah Police thanked the relentless efforts of the people who used social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook in search of the boy until they found him.
The Sharjah Police urged residents not to leave children alone to avoid such incidents.
