As UAE schools and universities gear up for campus reopening after summer break, the Ministry of Education (MoE) recently issued an advisory, explaining the protocol that have to be followed if a Covid-19 case is detected during the school year.
The circular, a copy of which was studied by Khaleej Times, detailed comprehensive guidelines that also included testing phases. Here are some of the main points detailed in the MoE document:
What happens if someone in the school tests positive for Covid-19?
1-The person must be quarantined and the health authority's safety protocols must be implemented
2-Identify all the people who may have been in contact with the person
3-Disinfect classrooms or any other area the person had visited
