Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has vowed to sue if Reham Khan's book will be published in UK.
According to a Dawn report, Jemima said that she would file a defamation suit against Reham Khan - a journalist and Imran Khan's second wife. "I will be suing for defamation and breach of privacy on behalf of my (then) 16-year-old son and in relation to the moronic, re-hashed Zionist conspiracy theories," she said in a tweet posted on Wednesday.
She also said that she has been 'assured' that the book is too 'libellous' to be published in the UK. Yet added that she would sue on behalf of her son for defamation and breach of privacy.
On Reham Khan's book I've been assured that it's too libellous to be published in the UK but if it is published here, I will be suing for defamation & breach of privacy on behalf of my (then) 16 yr old son & in relation to the moronic, re-hashed Zionist conspiracy theories. SighThe autobiography penned by Khan's second wife is yet to be published but has already become a source of controversy. Reham Khan is accused of being on a 'PML-N' agenda by actor Hamza Ali Abbasi who claims to have read a manuscript of the book. Abbasi later released a statement saying that the manuscript is evidence that the book intends to damage the image of the PTI.
