A 47-year-old Indian woman attempted suicide by cutting her veins at her apartment in Sharjah.
The police said they received information about the incident and immediately rushed to her apartment where she was found in a pool of blood.
The woman bled until she lost consciousness, according to the police.
She was admitted to the ICU of Al Kuwaiti Hospital, where the medical staff operated the victim by fixing her veins and saving her life.
The police said the investigation revealed the woman had tried to commit suicide as she was facing financial difficulties along with family issues.
