A Filipina expat - who has been working as a maid in the UAE - won a BMW luxury car in a raffle that was held earlier this week.
In a video shared by UAE Exchange on Facebook, they announced Florinza Santos as the lucky winner of a new BMW 3-Series luxury car. In the clip, she shares that she had been working in the UAE for only 11 months.
"I'm very blessed and extremely happy," an excited Florinza says on the video. She adds that she would be selling the car off in order to fly back to the Philippines. Florinza plans to use the money to build a house and start a modest business back home.
According to the Filipino Times, Florinza hails from the northern region of Ilocos Norte in the Philippines and won in the UAE Exchange's raffle on December 7. Three more BMW luxury cars will be given away in the coming weeks.
