The Ajman Municipality on Saturday announced free parking for its prepaid public parking for six days on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
The free parking started on Sunday will continue till Friday, July 8. Free parking will be effective in all parts of the emirate.
From Saturday morning, the inspectors will be around the public parking spaces and charging will be resumed.
Mohammed bin Omair, Director of Engineering Department, said that the municipality is always keen to share happiness of Eid and other religious occasions with nationals and expatriates in the emirate.
He added that under the instructions of Ajman Municipality Director-General, the department is working to make sure that residents and visitors to the emirate enjoy the holidays safely in a pleasant and happy atmosphere.
