Global Village, one of Dubai's and the region's popular tourist destinations, has announced that the duration of its current Season 23 will be extended.
The last day of season 23 will now be on April 13, 2019.
Global Village management decided to extend season 23 in response to repeated requests by guests.
All 27 pavilions will be operational and welcoming shoppers on a daily basis, in addition, more than 160 outlets will continue to offer delicious food from traditional dishes to unique street foods from 78 different cultures.
The multicultural festival park which holds 9/10 in its guest happiness index, strives to always exceed guests' expectations and comply with their demands whenever possible.
Global Village asked it guests through polls across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram if they would like the season to be extended.
Within two days, more than 150,000 followers responded with excitement towards the idea.
With more than 60 rides and skill games, over 100 arcade games, and a fascinating circus show, Global Village's Carnival, that offers the biggest funfair experience, will also be welcoming guests until April 13.
Other upcoming attractions in Season 23 include the International Day of Happiness on March 20, Mothers' Day on March 21, and the Festival of Colours on March 22.
The park will continue to open as per its usual schedule, from 4 pm to midnight from Saturday to Wednesday and until 1 am on Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays.
Bader Anwahi, CEO of Global Village said: "Our decision to extend the season comes as a result to the numourous demands we are receiving through the various communication channels with our guests and stakeholders, indicating the ever huge success this season is recording."
Global Village is open from 4 pm to 12 am from Saturday to Wednesday and from 4 pm to 1 pm on Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays.
On Mondays, it is dedicated to families and women only.
