The young couple got engaged last year and had their Al Akhd ceremony on September 19, 2019, followed by a grand reception at the World Trade Centre, which was attended by Rulers, royals and residents.

In their first picture together as a newlywed couple, as per tradition, Sheikha Maryam did not reveal herself - but instead shared a cropped image of her holding Sheikh Khaled's hand. However, a hint of her wedding dress can be seen in the photo.

Here's wishing the couple a happy married life.
