Dubai petrol pump worker returns lost Dh20,000

Dubai - He was honoured by his company for his "honesty and integrity."

A man working in one of the petrol stations was recently honoured by his company for returning a customer's wallet. Sarath Gopan, an attendant at ENOC's Dubai Internet City service station found the missing wallet which contained Dh20,000 cash. Sarath returned the missing wallet to its rightful owner.
In a tweet, ENOC praised Gopan saying that "Sarath's honesty and integrity reflect our values and principles, and we thank him for embodying them."
Earlier, a Nepalese employee who works in a Starbucks in Dubai was honoured by Dubai Police after he returned a lost bag containing Dh434,000 that belonged to a tourist. Last year, RTA Dubai honoured a cabbie for returning Dh7,000 cash and a wallet with important cards to a tourist.
