"Have you visited the spice souq or been to the Dubai Frame?"

Chances are that you in spite of being a resident of Dubai for years, might not have. Your weekends might revolve around grocery shopping and a visit to the mall.

While tourists come in hordes to visit the landmarks of Dubai, residents are often too lazy and weekends too precious to go around sightseeing.

1. Visit Old Dubai

Interested in knowing what Dubai looked like decades ago? Head to Dubai Creek and The Al Fahidi Historic district to visit the museums and galleries and also take a ride in the traditional abras (boats) to beat the traffic.
