The Dubai Police have arrested six unemployed Pakistani men for alleged robbery at an office in Al Nakheel area.

According to the police, the suspects made away with Dh52,500, $1,500 and 60,000 Pakistani rupees along with three gold chains.

The complainant, also a Pakistani man, told the police that while he was at his brother's office, the suspects knocked at the door. When he opened the door, they asked him about his brother and he replied that his brother was not there. Suddenly, they started assaulting him and took the money.

His sister, who came out of the bathroom, was also assaulted by the suspects, the complainant told the police. They also snatched three gold chains from her. When the victims tried to stop the suspects, they assaulted them again and left the office. She said her brother chased them and got hold of one of the suspects, who bit him and ran away. The police managed to locate the suspects in Sharjah and arrested them in cooperation with the Sharjah Police. The suspects were referred to the Dubai criminal court.
