A brief clip of a crash in Umm Al Quwain went viral on social media, showing an SUV rammed into a restaurant, Al Ittihad reported on Friday.
According to the report, the accident was caused by a 70-year-old man, who 'mistakenly' pressed the accelerator instead of the brakes, which resulted in the accident.
No injuries were reported, Umm Quwain police said.
The driver, who was getting out of the parking area, forgot to change the gear from drive to reverse, causing the car to quickly thrust forward and crash into a nearby restaurant's glass facade.?? ???? ???? ???? ?????? .. ??????? APG ??View this post on Instagram
