Parking will be free across Abu Dhabi for six days next week in celebration of Eid Al Adha.
The Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi (DoT) announced on Wednesday that its parking bays across the emirate will be free of charge from Sunday, August 19, to Saturday, August 25 at 7.59am, when the tariffs will be reactivated.
The DoT has called upon its customers not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and not to block vehicles or traffic flow during the Eid Al Adha holiday.
The DoT has also urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays from 9pm to 8am.
"All customer service centers will be closed during the Eid holiday and work will resume on Sunday, August 26, 2018," said the DoT statement.
