Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is offering a new code of distinctive number plates for vehicles starting with the digit zero. The first bundle of these plates will be on offer as early as May.
Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the RTA said: 'Launching this new initiative signals RTA's commitment to respond to the needs of customers aspiring to obtain distinctive plates, and the RTA would issue a limited number of distinctive plates in respect of some codes.'
'Over the next few weeks, the RTA will identify the numbers and codes to be issued under the Zero Code to customers through open auctions or direct sales at Customers Service Center,” he explained.
